Love this place. Good fishing, good hiking and in a pretty location.
Good for cook outs. DNR will ticket you for parking in Grass even if there isn't a no parking sign.
We stopped here for a single night during a cross country drive. Bathrooms are decent and lake is gorgeous. Sites are very very close with zero privacy. Great for a stop over but we would not enjoy staying here otherwise.
Love this place and their new edition Baker's DGC (disc golf course) located just a little ways past the actual turn off that takes you straight to the campgrounds. 9 hole course located right off the lake that was just added last year (2016). Something there for everyone of all ages including beach and swim area, bait shop, paddle boat and canoe rentals, shower houses, electricity hook ups and separate tent areas and you can buy your fishing license right there at the bait shop! Makes for a fantastic little get away. I've been coming here since i was just a little girl, I really enjoy it here and have so many fond memories.
My gosh this park and lake are so beautiful and the campsites are very big. Hot shower, marina store and very affordable boat rental. Book in advance for a great spot next to the water!
